корреспондентский счет
Счет, на котором отражаются расчеты, произведенные одним банком по поручению и за счет другого банка на основе заключенного договора (банковские работники обычно говорят короче: «корсчет»). Чтобы понять этот термин, сначала надо разобраться с тем, что такое корреспондентские отношения и корреспондентский банк. Когда один банк заводит в другом свой счет(он называет его счетом «ностро», то есть «свой счет»), другой заводит в первом свой – счет «востро» (ваш счет). Разумеется, с позиции второго банка все наоборот: первый - «востро», второй — «ностро»). В таких корсчетах отражаются расчеты по поручению и за счет других банков, они пронизывают всю банковскую систему страны и связывают многие ее банки с банками других государств. Каждый коммерческий банк имеет корреспондентский счет в Центральном банке России, что имеет особое значение для денежной системы страны - см. Резервные требования.
